Healthy eating plans involve a little bit more than just plans to stop eating Oreos for every meal, although that is a good start. Eating in a fashion that is best for your body means getting the right balance of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fatty acids, and all those other things that we know are good for us and don’t always have the time or desire to consume. Or to keep track of the right proportions of each. Face it, if broccoli tasted like cherry pie, most of us would have much better diets than we do now. As a result, we would have more energy, sleep better, and probably have less arthritis and even depression. Part of this would be because it would be easier to eat everything we’re supposed to and if we have a diet that is generally high in vegetables, fruits, nuts, and lean proteins and low in salt, sugar, trans fats, and unpronounceable preservatives, getting the percentages just right wouldn’t matter because we’d be fairly close and it would all balance out. Unfortunately it isn’t that easy for most of us. We don’t have the knowledge or the time, or sometimes, to be honest, the motivation to work out a healthy eating plan. Especially one we can stick to. We need help. Fortunately, not only is there help out there, healthy eating plans can be found in conjunction with naturally sourced vitamins and healthy snacks, both of which will help us keep up with our goals.
