If you don't have the best healthy eating habits, your hormones are probably out of tune and you may not be able to trust your gut.  Are you hungry or are you full?  Do you really know?

When you put on fat your body starts secreting excess leptin.  Normally this should tell your brain that you are putting on extra weight and you need to cut back on the food consumption.

Leptin disruptions, which come mostly from too much sugar consumption, instead tell your brain to send out hunger signals, even if you have just eaten.  The reason for disruption is because the excess sugar increases insulin and insulin blocks leptin signaling, which means your brain never gets the message to stop eating or cut back.  

The end result is a wicked cycle of non healthy eating plans and packing on the pounds.  So start new healthy eating habits of limiting your sugar intake and letting leptin do its job to get the proper signals to the brain so you don’t overeat.
