Greek researchers have reported the science behind this healthy eating habit. They say that eating slowly can boost levels of certain hormones that make you feel fuller. Pacing yourself with your meals helps to keep the hormone level of Ghrelin low, which tells your body you are full. You also stimulate other hormones when there is food in your stomach and intestines that will tell your brain you are fuller for a longer period of time.
