Combine Healthy Fats and Protein With Sugar in Your Healthy Diet Plan



We all demonize the food manufacturers for using high fructose corn syrup and making us fat whether we're trying to follow healthy diet plans or not.  Well, it is true that high fructose corn syrup is not good for us, but to blame it for the obesity problem is farfetched.  There is a correlation, but it is not the cause.  

Obesity is about consuming too many calories.  It just so happens that a lot of people who are obese and overweight have been drinking a lot of soft drinks that contain high fructose corn syrup and eating foods that are high in high fructose corn syurp.  The calorie totals are huge.  What you should know is that scientists see the same effect when the source is plain sugar as well.  The similarity is overall calorie intake.  

To decrease the effect of high glycemic foods you can add healthy fats and protein to each meal of your healthy diet plan, which will slow the absorption of the sugars and give your body a chance to utilize them for energy instead of storing them as fat.
