The Importance Of Pre- and Post-Workout Nutrition To Healthy Weight Loss Achievement

 

If you don’t already know, strength training and pre- and post-workout nutrition are vital parts of your fat loss success.

When you strength train you break down your muscle and it needs to be repaired.  So it is important that you provide it with plenty of protein and amino acids, which are the building blocks of your muscle.

One important amino acid in protein is the essential amino acid Leucine, shown in extensive scientific studies to be responsible for activating protein synthesis and muscle growth at the DNA level.  This ensures that your workouts are going to be of maximum benefit and you aren’t wasting time in the gym.

Make sure you include plenty of protein throughout the day and particularly pay attention to your pre- and post-workout nutrition so that your body has the amino acids it needs to build lean muscle and speed up your metabolism.
