Natural Way To Reduce Your Cancer (and death) Risk?
By Kevin DiDonato MS, CES

At some point in your life, you will meet someone who has survived cancer…
Or you will meet someone who has cancer…
Perhaps you may develop cancer.
Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases around. It takes the lives of hundreds of thousands of people each year, leaving families fractured.
But there may be good news on the horizon…
A new study has shown that the omega-3 fatty acids may be useful at improving the survival rate in those suffering cancer.
Let’s take a closer look…
Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Cancer
As you know, the omega-3 fatty acids are important fats for your health.
They have been proven, time and again, to improve your heart health, brain health, and even your eye health.
But for a moment, I want you to forget that these fats may be able to lower total and LDL cholesterol…
I want you to forget that they may boost HDL cholesterol and lower your triglycerides..
Or that they improve memory and may prevent age-related eye diseases.
Instead, what I want you to focus on is the results of a breakthrough study regarding colon cancer!
You see, researchers wanted to assess the potential antineoplastic role of omega-3 fatty acids in patients with colon cancer.
Antineoplastic simply means they prevent the developing of tumors in the body!
The researchers looked at different intakes of omega-3 fatty acids and how it impacted colon cancer rates.
They found that the higher the intake of omega-3 fatty acids, led to a much lower risk for death from colon cancer.
Also, they showed that people who took in at least .30 grams/day, has a much better prognosis for survival.
Surprisingly, they also showed that increasing the intake of the omega-3 fatty acids by .15 grams/day also had a lower risk for death from colon cancer.
This was all compared to people eating less than .02 g/day!
They concluded: “High marine ω-3 PUFA intake after CRC diagnosis is associated with lower risk of CRC-specific mortality. Increasing consumption of marine ω-3 PUFAs after diagnosis may confer additional benefits to patients with CRC.”

Cancer is one of the worst diseases around. It takes the lives of hundreds of thousands of people each year.
There is a good chance that you—or someone you know—has had to deal with cancer at some point if their lives.
However, all hope may not be lost! A new study shows that the omega-3 fatty acids may improve survival rates—especially in colon cancer patients.
The results of the study showed that people who had a high intake of omega-3 rich foods (mackeral, tuna fish, wild-caught salmon, herring, halibut, sardines, and lake trout) may reduce their death risk associated with colon cancer.
This is just one more benefits to add to the omega-3 fatty acids and their impact on your health, wellness, and longevity.
